The Melbourne Demons Introduce the Boston Demons Down Under
Posted: February 8, 2012 in General PostsIt was bitterly cold early one Saturday morning, when five daring women stripped to their skivvies and jogged across a quarter mile of sand towards the frigid ocean. Some dove gracefully into the shallow water, others splashed in a bit more modestly, all of them secretly thinking “Why did I agree to do this again?!”
The Boston Lady Demons Polar Bear Plunge took place on January 28, 2012 at 10 AM in South Boston. Thanks to the generous support of our friends and devoted fans, the club raised over S1300 for this event and we couldn’t be more stoked! We’d like to thank you, and remind you to watch this space for the next round of fun from the Boston Lady Demons.

Come Get Your Oz On – Australia Day Celebration 2012

Ladies & Gentlemen, you are invited to Boston’s official Australia Day Party for 2012. For the second year running it will be held at the Asgard Irish Pub & Restaurant on Saturday 28th January and is set to be the best yet. We have Australian music, Aussie beer, meat pies, raffles, auctions, giveaways as well as the annual ‘Peter Garrett-off’.
Festivities kick off at 1pm and will go long into the night. Get there early as space may run out.
Remember to get your Aussie costume together as there are prizes for the best dressed!
All welcome and encouraged to fill their boots regardless of nationality. $10 entry to the best party of the year!
The fearless ladies and gentlemen of the Boston Demons will be kicking off our annual Australia Day celebrations on January 28th by plunging headlong into a new season, and the frigid Atlantic Ocean. To get us closer to our goal of wearing our own uniform this season, we’re asking you, our faithful fans, to donate $25 (or whatever you can) in return for us testing our limits.
