Kick In The Common

Time to dust off the footy and head to the park. The Boston Lady Demons will be having a kick in the Boston Common this Saturday, March 3 from 11 to about 1 PM.

For potential new members, this is an opportunity to meet some of us and start to learn about Aussie Rules Football.  We’ll be teaching kicks, passes and we may even bust out some tackle maneuvers.

Rain or shine….look for flying pink footies, on the field near Frog Pond (corner of Charles and Beacon-ish).

Come Get Your Oz On – Australia Day Celebration 2012

Ladies & Gentlemen, you are invited to Boston’s official Australia Day Party for 2012. For the second year running it will be held at the Asgard Irish Pub & Restaurant on Saturday 28th January and is set to be the best yet. We have Australian music, Aussie beer, meat pies, raffles, auctions, giveaways as well as the annual ‘Peter Garrett-off’.

Festivities kick off at 1pm and will go long into the night. Get there early as space may run out.

Remember to get your Aussie costume together as there are prizes for the best dressed!

All welcome and encouraged to fill their boots regardless of nationality. $10 entry to the best party of the year!

Polar Bear Plunge – January 28

The fearless ladies and gentlemen of the Boston Demons will be kicking off our annual Australia Day celebrations on January 28th by plunging headlong into a new season, and the frigid Atlantic Ocean. To get us closer to our goal of wearing our own uniform this season, we’re asking you, our faithful fans, to donate $25 (or whatever you can) in return for us testing our limits. We promise you will be rewarded with pictures that can be used for blackmail purposes for years to come. It’s easy to donate, just click the donate button below.
